about

This was written about 8 or 9 years ago but wasn't recorded until 2008 on the farm. It was intended to be a full band song be we ran out of time.

lyrics

in every way i show her
when i look into her eyes
the colour of her skin
and the colours i could prise
with every turning hour
just living with no lives
we could make it worth it when it falls into the night
and even when the sun ain't shining
and all my flowers are dying
well i can't help but love you
and i'm so sad they shot you.
and even when the bells they ring
and every man and child they sing
yeah, i can't help but love you
and i'm so sad they shot you.
and just by chance we made this.
we fell into this life.
and now our candles burning
and i'm sure that we're alright
oh but, but when i look at her
i know that she was right.
when she said
we're all gonna die someday but life will just be fine.
and even when the sun ain't shining
and all my flowers are dying
well i can't help but love you
and i'm so sad they shot you.
and even when the bells they ring
and every man and child they sing
yeah, i can't help but love you
and i'm so sad they shot you.
go go anyone stand on my gold gold
hand on my hand on my hole hole
thin you are thin you are
sold sold anywhere you wanna be.
go go anyone stand on my gold gold
hand on my hand on my hole hole
thin you are thin you are
sold sold anywhere you wanna be.
and even when the sun ain't shining
and all my flowers are dying
well i can't help but love you
and i'm so sad they shot you.
and even when the bells they ring
and every man and child they sing
yeah, i can't help but love you
and i'm so sad they shot you.
